Registered community design

"Design” means the appearance of the whole or a part of a product resulting from the features of, in particular, the lines, contours, colours, shape, texture and/or materials of the product itself and/or its ornamentation. One single application for Community Design (RCD) at the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) can include several designs, if all designs belong to one class of the International Classification for Industrial Designs (Locarno classification) and all designs have the same applicant. Registration of Community Design takes several days and the design is valid until any third party objects it. Registration certificate is available in electronic form; it is not issued in paper. RCD allows for combating infringers immediately, for example, to seizure pirated goods at the customs border of the EU.

EU trademark search
Free of charge!
Before applying for a new trademark registration, it is essential to make sure that it is possible to register this trademark and that it is free to use it. We examine a trademark for absolute grounds of refusal and search relevant databases for identical marks among EU trademarks, EU national trademarks and international trademarks designating the EU or EU member states. Based on this search and our analysis, we provide a professional opinion on whether your trademark is registrable in the European Union and you may proceed with the registration process, or whether there are evident obstacles to registration of your trademark that exist, and a more thorough analysis needs to be performed.
